Deion Sanders to talk ahead of conference game against Cincinnati

DENVER (KDVR) — The University of Colorado Buffaloes are now 5-2 after defeating the Wildcats in the Arizona desert on Saturday, pushing them one game closer to bowl eligibility.

With the help of Arizona’s failed opening gamble, the Buffaloes charged out of the gates and ran away with one of their best all-around games of the season. Shedeur Sanders threw for 250 yards and accounted for three touchdowns, and Colorado’s defense shut down Arizona in a 34-7 win.

The Buffs were able to bounce back from the loss to Kansas State two weekends ago after scoring two early touchdowns.

“Everybody is capable and we have a team capable of winning every game, and that’s what we did today,” Colorado safety Shilo Sanders said. “Everybody played like themselves.”

Shilo had a much better game against the Arizona Wildcats than he did against the Kansas State Wildcats. He returned to Folsom Filed to face Kansas after missing three games due to a broken forearm. However, he played what he called the worst game of his life.

Shilo spent the week watching tapes and talking to his father about what he did wrong, and it paid off with a stellar game against Arizona.

Next up, the Buffs are heading back home to face the Cincinnati Bearcats, who are also 5-2. ESPN has the Buffs favored to win by 68.4% as of Tuesday.

Head coach Deion Sanders will speak at the university on Tuesday. The conference is expected to start at around 11 a.m., and it will be livestreamed in the player above.
