Saturday will start with plenty of sunshine. Then, as high temperatures climb to the mid-70s, clouds will increase ahead of the chance for some afternoon showers and thunderstorms.

Looking ahead: Warmer Sunday, showers start workweek

Sunday will be mainly sunny and warmer. High temperatures are on track to climb into the 80s for the third time this year.

A more active weather pattern moves in for the start of the workweek. Monday will start mostly sunny, then as high temperatures climb to the mid-70s, the chance for showers will increase.

A more widely scattered chance for showers moves in Tuesday, and a few showers could linger into early Wednesday. Sunshine and mild temperatures in the 70s return by the end of the week.
