Denver weather: Drier weekend ahead of a warming trend

DENVER (KDVR) —  Denver's weather will start to dry up this weekend. This will be followed by sunshine and a warming trend to start the week.

Weather tonight: More clouds, patchy fog

Friday night, clouds will build back into the area alongside some patchy areas of fog Friday night into Saturday morning. Low temperatures will fall to the mid-20s, which is just a few degrees below normal for this time of year.

Weather tomorrow: Clearing and cool

Saturday morning, there will be a few patchy areas of fog. This will clear ahead of the St. Patrick's Day parade, which is scheduled to step off at about 9:30 a.m.

Clouds will clear through the afternoon as well as highs climb up to the mid-40s, which is about 10 degrees chillier than what's typical for this time of year.

Looking ahead: Sunshine and warming trend

Sunday, Denver will stay under a partly sunny sky. Temperatures will stay cool and just reach a high in the mid-40s.

Sunshine and a warming trend kick in for the start of the workweek. Monday, temperatures will be spot on normal for this time of year, starting with a low in the upper 20s, followed by a high in the mid-50s.

60s make a return on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday ahead of another chance for showers by the end of the week.
