Denver weather: More sunshine and warm temperatures on the way

DENVER (KDVR) — Sunshine and warmer-than-normal temperatures will continue to dominate Denver's weather for the rest of the workweek and into the weekend.

Weather tonight: Mainly clear

Tuesday night will stay mainly clear. Temperatures will call to the low to mid-40s, which is nearly 10 degrees warmer than normal for this time of year.

Weather tomorrow: Sunny, warmer than normal

Sunshine dominates the forecast again on Wednesday. High temperatures will climb to the mid-70s, which is a little more than 10 degrees above average.

Looking ahead: Staying sunny into the start of next week

Thursday follows the trend of sunshine and high temperatures reaching the 70s. Thursday will also be breezy as a cold front moves through the area, bringing wind gusts up to around 30 mph.

Friday will be cooler and more seasonal with temperatures only reaching the 60s. Then, sunshine and a warming trend return for the weekend.

Monday will be sunny and breezy, with high temperatures reaching the 70s, ahead of the next big change. Tuesday, a cold front will move toward the area, increasing the chance for showers and drastically dropping temperatures for the middle of the week.
