Denver weather: Quieter weather pattern with unseasonably warm temperatures

KDVR Fox 31

DENVER (KDVR) — Quieter weather will again settle in for the long term as Denver's weather will again warm to unseasonably warm levels.

That said, Pinpoint Weather, Colorado’s Most Accurate Forecast, is tracking the potential for some minor snow accumulation in the central mountains overnight Sunday and early Monday.

Minor snow accumulations are possible in the central and northern mountains.

Weather tonight: Showers for some

Mostly quiet weather overnight with mostly dry conditions as well. Areas on the eastern plains or in the mountains will continue to have a chance to see spotty rain or snow showers. Temperatures fall into the lower 40s, and it won't be as breezy overnight.

Weather tomorrow: Decreasing clouds with gusty winds

Monday will start off on the cloudier side with a slight chance of seeing a shower around metro Denver. The higher elevations will experience some light snowfall.

Temperatures will climb to the lower 70s, but there will also be a gusty west-northwest wind around 15-25 miles per hour, with higher gusts possible in the higher elevations.

Looking ahead: Extended dry and warm stretch returns

The extended forecast is looking dry and uneventful again. Temperatures will remain in the 70s throughout the week with a few breezy days as well.

The warmest days will likely be Thursday and Friday as temperatures climb into the middle and upper 70s. A couple of locations may touch 80 degrees.
