DENVER (KDVR) — Rain and snow showers are moving into Denver's weather on Thursday ahead of a sunny and warmer weekend.
Weather today: Showers, cooler
Thursday morning will start with rain and snow showers. Any snowfall accumulation will be light due to the warm road conditions.
The best chance for showers will be in the morning, but a few scattered showers could continue through the evening as highs climb to the upper 40s.
Weather tonight: Clearing, cool
By Thursday night, rain showers will wrap up followed by clearing clouds. Temperatures will fall to the mid to upper 20s, which is about 5 degrees above average.
Looking ahead: Sunshine, warmer weekend ahead
On Friday, sunshine and a warming trend return to the forecast. Highs on Friday will climb to the low to mid-50s, then low to mid-60s by the weekend.
Monday will be sunny, warm and breezy with highs again reaching the mid-60s. This will be ahead of another system that will bring showers and a cooldown Monday night into Tuesday.
