Denver weather: Workweek starts nice, another round of rain and snow this week

KDVR Fox 31

DENVER (KDVR) — Denver's weather will stay mild with highs in the 60s for the first half of the workweek, ahead of the next chance for rain and snow showers.

Weather tonight: Mild, clouds increase

Sunday night will start mainly clear followed by increasing clouds later on. More clouds paired with a southwesterly shift in the wind will keep temperatures mild and only fall to the lower 30s.

Weather tomorrow: More clouds, mild

Monday, more clouds will move into the area. Temperatures will stay about 10 degrees warmer than normal and reach the mid-60s.

Looking ahead: Mild Tuesday ahead of rain and snow

Tuesday will be mild again with sunshine and a high in the 60s.

The next big change moves in on Wednesday. As a cold front moves into the area, snow showers will start in the mountains and spill down into the metro as rain. Rain will mix and then change over to snowfall, which could be heavy at times.

By Friday, snow showers will wrap up and give way to sunshine and cool temperatures for the weekend.
