How much snow fell during Denver's first measurable storm

DENVER (KDVR) — Snow is falling across Colorado on Wednesday, with some places collecting more than 10 inches.

Wednesday is a Pinpoint Weather Alert Day due to potentially slick roads throughout the metro, as well as icy spots heading into the mountains.

The snow started on Tuesday evening, leaving heavy, wet snow on the roadways. Denver has also officially recorded its first measurable snow of the season.

While the snow should taper off by the afternoon, the Pinpoint Weather team is still expecting parts of the state to see as much as 5 more inches before the storm is over.

Snow is still falling, and the Pinpoint Weather team expects more than 10 inches to fall in parts of the state. Meanwhile, there should be around 3 inches of snow in the metro by the time the storm ends on Wednesday evening.
