Jefferson County emergency dispatch phone lines down

Denver Post

Phone lines at Jefferson County’s emergency dispatch center are down and all 911 calls are being routed through Denver, county officials said Friday.

Technicians are at the communications center and working to restore phone lines, which went down around 4 p.m.

Residents should only call 911 if there is a life-threatening emergency, county officials said in a post on X.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
