Suspect killed in shooting involving Castle Rock officers

DENVER (KDVR) — An adult suspect is dead following a shooting involving police officers in Castle Rock.
FOX31 received several tips from viewers about shots being fired outside an apartment complex Wednesday night. After reaching out, the Castle Rock Police Department said officers were called to the intersection of Bilberry Street and Meadows Boulevard at 10:30 p.m. The area is in The Meadows community.
Castle Rock police shared little information on what led up to the shooting but said that no officers were injured and an adult suspect was pronounced dead.
It is unclear how many officers fired shots and if the suspect fired shots.
Castle Rock police told FOX31 more information would be released later Thursday morning.
