DENVER (KDVR) -- Police are looking for multiple suspects after a deadly shooting at an overnight Northglenn house party killed one person and hospitalized five others.
Northglenn Police told FOX31 that the first reports of shots fired came just after midnight on Wednesday on Belford Drive at Alamo Drive. This area is down the road from Northglenn High School.
Police said that one person was pronounced dead, while five others were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds.
When police arrived, they said there were about 20 to 25 people at a house party. Police said this wasn't a drive-by shooting, and the incident took place among the partygoers.
FOX31's Jim Hooley is on the scene where crime scene investigators and police are collecting evidence in the front yard and inside the home.
Neighbors told Hooley there was a large police presence, and one neighbor said they saw several people on the ground.
So far, no arrests have been made, but police say they are looking for multiple suspects involved in the shooting.
This is a developing story. FOX31 will update this when more information becomes available.
