DENVER (KDVR) -- The Aurora Police Department said one person was taken to the hospital Thursday after police fired shots.
Police said there was a large police presence just after noon in the 300 block of Ironton Street.
It was unclear how many shots were fired, but the police department confirmed that at least one officer fired shots.
One person was taken to a hospital, but no officers were injured.
