Wednesday, November 6
5:30 a.m. | Lisa Hidalgo's Forecast update | Happy snow day! Snow will continue through the morning with the heaviest to the south and east of Denver. We could see well over a foot on the far eastern plains by tonight!
5:20 a.m. | Interstate conditions | Denver7 Traffic Expert Jayson Luber says treacherous driving conditions should be expected along I-70 along the plains near Burlington. Closer in the metro, Luber says plows are working I-70 and driving conditions are mostly wet.
I-25 near Colorado Blvd is also plowed and showing wet conditions.
Across downtown, drivers should stay alert when crossing bridges and overpasses that are really slick and covered with snow.
5:14 a.m. | Additional snow amounts | Denver7 morning meteorologist Lisa Hidalgo says snow will continue this morning, with these additional amounts possible.
5:00 a.m. | Weather delays | Regis Jesuit High School will be closed Wednesday due to snow. Douglas County Government and schools are on a 90-minute delay.
4:45 a.m. | School delay | The Douglas County School District announced schools and buses will be on a 90-minute delay for Wednesday morning due to weather conditions.
