DENVER (KDVR) — After another warm and sunny day, cooler temperatures are the chance for rain to return to Denver's weather forecast Friday and into the weekend.

Weather tonight: Partly cloudy, mild

Some clouds will linger Wednesday night. This, plus a southerly direction to the wind, will help keep temperatures nearly 15 degrees above normal, only falling to the lower 50s.

Weather tomorrow: Sunny, breezy

Thursday will be mainly sunny and breezy with wind gusts out of the south to southwest around 30 mph. Temperatures will be cooler than Wednesday, but still about 10 degrees warmer than normal, reaching the mid-70s.

Looking ahead: Rain chances, much cooler

Friday will be breezy with increasing clouds ahead of the chance for rain showers by the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will be cooler, but seasonal, reaching the mid-60s.

Rain chances carry into Saturday, but it won't be a washout. The chance for rain will linger into Saturday morning, followed by a break in the showers by the afternoon and the return of some showers by the evening.

Temperatures will be much cooler on Saturday, only reaching the mid-50s, which is about 10 degrees cooler than normal for this time of year.

There is a chance for more showers on Sunday, with more seasonal temperatures climbing back up to seasonal levels in the mid-60s. Then, drier weather moves in for the start of the workweek.
