DENVER (KDVR) — Sunny, warm and breezier conditions will dominate Denver's weather Friday and Saturday ahead of the next chance for showers on Sunday.

Weather tonight: Clear and mild

Thursday night will stay mainly clear. Temperatures will fall down near freezing, which is about 10 degrees above normal.

Weather tomorrow: Sunny, mild, a little breezy

This warming trend continues on Friday. It will be a breezier day with wind gusts out of the southwest picking up to 20-25 mph and helping to boost highs to the mid-60s.

Looking ahead: Warm, breezy Saturday ahead of showers

Sunny, breezy and warmer temperatures continue on Saturday. High temperatures will climb to the mid-60s, which is more than 15 degrees above normal for this time of year. That's still shy of the record, which is 74 degrees, and was most recently hit in 2022.

A fire weather watch is in effect from Saturday morning through Sunday evening for strong wind and low relative humidity, which could fuel rapid fire growth.

Mountain snow will start to move in Sunday night. Showers push into the Denver metro by Sunday morning and will start as a mix of rain and snow with temperatures in the 30s, before tapering off by the evening as temperatures climb to the lower 50s. Drier conditions move in for the first half of the workweek ahead of another chance for showers on Thrusday.
