DENVER (KDVR) — Rain and snow showers are moving into Denver's weather on Thursday ahead of a sunny and warmer weekend.

Weather today: Showers, cooler

Thursday morning will start with rain and snow showers. Any snowfall accumulation will be light due to the warm road conditions.

The best chance for showers will be in the morning, but a few scattered showers could continue through the evening as highs climb to the upper 40s.

By Thursday night, rain showers will wrap up followed by clearing clouds. Temperatures will fall to the mid to upper 20s, which is about 5 degrees above average.
