DENVER (KDVR) — Snowfall will leave Denver's weather Saturday night ahead of a chilly but sunny end to the weekend.

Winter weather advisories and winter storm warnings remain in effect for most of the area until 11 p.m. and continue as late as Sunday morning.

Even as snow showers wrap up, travel could be difficult due to slick roads.

Weather tonight: Snow ending

Saturday night, snow showers will taper off. Temperatures will be chilly but seasonal and fall to the upper teens.

Weather tomorrow: Clearing, chilly

Sunday, clouds will clear through the day. Temperatures will remain on the chilly side, and only reach a high in the upper 30s.

Looking ahead: Sunny, warmer workweek

The start of the workweek will bring sunshine and warmer temperatures.

On Monday and Tuesday, highs will climb to the upper 40s, then continue to climb to around 50 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday.

By the end of the week, a system will move through bringing more clouds, cooler temperatures and even a slight chance for showers on Friday.
