Eastbound Interstate 70 is closed near Lookout Mountain after a rollover dump truck crash spilled asphalt on the highway, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
Colorado Department of Transportation officials described it as a “long-term closure” for crash recovery and cleanup, according to an alert posted online. Drivers must exit the highway at exit 254 for Genesee. No one was injured in the crash, the sheriff’s office said in a post on X.
