DENVER (KDVR) -- Jack White announced Monday that he will be performing a surprise show in Denver on Tuesday at Bluebird Theatre.

The Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and guitarist is commonly known for his role in the band The White Stripes and has been releasing solo music since the early 2010s.

The show announcement is the latest for his tour supporting his new album No Name. The shows have come as a surprise for many fans, and the artist explained in a post on Instagram that he will not be announcing tour dates in advance.

"Shows will be announced as close to the show date as possible, some shows we won't even decide to do until that morning," the Instagram post from Aug. 13 reads.

The Denver show is scheduled for 8 p.m. Tuesday, with doors opening at 7 p.m. Acid Mothers Temple will open the show.

How to get tickets

The Bluebird Theatre has a capacity of 550, so those who want tickets will need to be ready when they go on sale at 1 p.m. Monday.

To get tickets, fans will first need to register to get a code through Laylo, a platform that creators use to notify fans about shows, merchandise and new music. Simply enter your phone number on the website and you will receive a confirmation code and further details will be texted to your phone.

Fans are limited to two tickets per transaction. Fans will need to bring an ID that matches the name on the ticket in order to be admitted to the show. The tickets are non-transferable and attendees will be given a wristband at will call.

According to the Bluebird website, there will be a limited number of $25 tickets for students available the day of the show at 11:30 a.m. at the box office
