Holiday shoppers in Denver love the Mile High Holiday Mart put on by the Junior League of Metro Denver. It's one stop shopping where you can check off some gifts from your holiday shopping list, support small businesses, and know that you're helping a good cause. There are about 120 vendors registered to be at the Holiday Mart. Many of them are local women and minority owned vendors. You can even get ahead of the crowds this year.

"Friday November 15, we'll have our VIP shopping time so from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. before it opens to the public. Tickets are $40 and that includes parking, some food and drinks, and the chance to win a diamond from Ashley Schenkein Jewelry Design," said Carson Maczuzak, President of the Junior League of Metro Denver.

Vendors will have a wide variety of items for sale including home décor, apparel, specialty food items, jewelry, pet items, and much more. You'll even find some of the new trends that you didn't even know you needed.

"It's a soup koozie. So, you can put your bowl in there when you're warming it up … something in the microwave, so it's not hot when you grab it," Maczuzak said of one of the products she brought to CBS News Colorado.

The price of regular admission to the Holiday Mart is $10. Tickets are on sale either online or at the door. Ticket sales go to fund the work of the Junior League of Denver, which is a women's leadership organization dedicated to creating meaningful change in the community through volunteering, collaboration, and training.

"Our focus is working to disrupt the cycle of systemic poverty for women and families in Denver. We know that families are struggling right now, and we are working to fill in the gaps so families can thrive," Maczuzak said.
