DENVER (KDVR) — A man was convicted of first-degree assault and sentenced to 75 years in prison for three separate sexual assaults in 2022.

On Tuesday, District Attorney Brian Mason with the 17th Judicial District Attorney's Office announced that Devin Reese, 36, was convicted of three counts of first-degree assault and three counts of criminal attempt to commit sexual assault.

The convictions stemmed from three assaults.

On April 24, 2022, the DA said Reese arranged to meet a woman who had allegedly advertised sexual services. When Reese arrived at the victim's apartment, the DA said he pointed a gun at her. He then assaulted her and threatened to kill her family if she told the police.

On May 10, 2022, the DA said Reese arranged a meeting with a woman through her OnlyFans page. Reese went to the woman's home and asked if she would get in his car because he felt uncomfortable. Again, the DA said Reese pointed a gun at the victim and assaulted her.

On May 20, 2022, the DA said Reese started a conversation with a woman in the parking lot of a convenience store. However, Reese showed his gun and demanded the woman get in his vehicle. Reese assaulted the woman before telling her to get out of the car.

The DA said that thanks to the bravery of the victims for coming forward and telling their stories, police were able to connect Reese to all three assaults.

“This defendant preyed on innocent victims and committed truly unspeakable crimes,” said District Attorney Brian Mason. “This 75-year prison sentence is more than just for these horrific acts. The bravery of these victims cannot be overstated. I am also thankful for the immense law enforcement efforts that went into this investigation and the diligent work of my Special Victims Unit to ensure justice was served in these crimes.”

On April 12, an Adams County district judge sentenced Reese to 75 years in prison, 25 years per victim.
