DENVER (KDVR) — United Airlines is adding additional flights from Denver to the final stop on Taylor Swift's "Eras Tour." The airline says flights to Vancouver around the last concert dates are filling up.

"As fans start making plans to see their favorite pop star in Canada this December, United Airlines is adding three extra roundtrip nonstop flights between its hub cities and Vancouver to meet growing travel demand," the airline said Friday.

From Dec. 5 to 9, additional flights will operate from Denver, Chicago and San Francisco. United Airlines said flights to Vancouver during those dates are already over 80% full when they would typically be around 40% full this far in advance.

United said flights around Swift's remaining U.S. shows are also selling quickly.

"Flights the days surrounding her concerts in Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis are already 80% full. Typically, flights to these cities would only be around 60% full this far in advance," the airline said.

Taylor Swift has three shows in Vancouver on Dec. 6, 7 and 8. Considering the impact that the star's previous shows have had on the economy, it's possible that the demand to see her in Vancouver is high enough to prompt additional flights.

When Swift performed in Denver last summer, over 70,000 fans attended her concerts two nights in a row. The show brought over $200 million to the city’s economy and was so big it could be seen from space.

According to the booking website, the additional flight from Denver, UA 1698, departs for Vancouver at 12:45 p.m. each day Dec. 5 through Dec. 9. Another flight from Vancouver, UA 1699, departs for Denver at 4 p.m. is offered from Dec. 5 through Dec. 9.
