Catherine Parenteau Gets Green Card Thanks to Pickleball

St. Patrick's Day is only a few days away, but Canadian-born Catherine Parenteau is already rocking her green – her green card, that is.

Carvana PPA Tour on X shared a Hannah Johns' interview with CP after her win vs Chao Yi Wang, where she exclaimed that she "finally" had a green card through pickleball.

Catherine said it took about a year and a half to get the card and officially become a United States citizen.

Congratulations, CP. We couldn't be happier for you.

Catherine lost in the Women’s Singles quarterfinals match against Jorja Johnson. But you can catch CP today on PickleballTV playing alongside Jack Sock in Mixed Doubles or Saturday with her Women’s Doubles partner, Anna Leigh Waters.
